Reconciliation software for controllers who own the close
Reconciles is reconciliation software for controllers who sign off the month. It matches bank lines, processor payouts and invoices against your ledger, explains every match with a reason and a confidence score, and leaves your team a short exceptions queue, so review replaces manual matching and the close stops waiting on spreadsheets.
Your files are processed in your browser and never stored. No card needed.
Where the close loses its days
You own the close calendar, and reconciliation is the step that slips. Statements arrive, payouts need to be broken down, someone rebuilds last month's spreadsheet, and the differences that cannot be explained end up on your desk on the last day.
- Matching is done by hand, line by line, by one or two people who know the accounts.
- Batched payouts, partial payments and fees make simple matching fail.
- Duplicates and missing items surface late or not at all.
- The audit trail is a folder of spreadsheets with no record of who decided what.
Reconciles moves that work from people to the engine and keeps people where they add value: reviewing exceptions and approving entries.
What manual reconciliation costs you
Type your own numbers. We do not use benchmarks, we show your math.
The calculator multiplies the hours you enter by the hourly cost you enter and compares the result with the price of the plan that covers your transaction volume. Only your inputs go into it.
- Your monthly cost of manual matching
- $2,200
- Plan that covers your volume
- Growth
- Hours you get back for review and analysis
- 40
Close process control you can show your auditors
- Every match carries a plain-language reason, such as "amount and reference" or "payout batch net of fees", and a confidence score.
- Exceptions are sorted into unmatched, partial, duplicate, amount difference and date difference, each with the difference shown.
- On Growth, exceptions can be assigned and commented. On Scale, approvals and an audit log record who did what and when.
- Nothing is posted to the ledger without review.
- The reconciliation report in XLSX or PDF goes straight into your close file.

A month end close in three days
-
Day 1
Statements and payout reports come in. Reconciles parses every account, matches the bulk of transactions and opens the exceptions queue.
-
Day 2
Your team works the queue, not the spreadsheet. Exceptions are assigned, commented and resolved, and new rules are saved for next month.
-
Day 3
You review match rates per account, export the reconciliation report and journal entries, and sign off.

What your team reconciles in one place
- Bank accounts vs the ledger, see bank reconciliation software.
- Processor payouts and marketplace settlements vs deposits and invoices.
- Customer payments vs open invoices, see accounts receivable reconciliation software.
- Balance sheet accounts vs supporting detail, see balance sheet reconciliation software.
- Intercompany balances across entities before consolidation.
A purchase you can make yourself
You do not need a vendor process to start. Prices are published, the demo runs on your own files without an account, and every plan, including Scale with SSO, SCIM and data residency, is bought in your account. The DPA and the security questionnaire pack are available for download, so IT and procurement get their answers without a meeting. See reconciliation software security.

Questions controllers ask
Run the demo on a real bank statement and a ledger or payout export from a closed month. You see the match rate, the first matched pairs and the exceptions by type, then compare that with what your team found by hand.
Most matches come from exact matching and your own rules. AI only suggests unclear pairs, each with a reason and a confidence score, and your team approves or rejects them.
Reconciles reads exports from QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite and Sage, and sends journal entries back as CSV for QuickBooks, Xero and NetSuite. See the integrations page.
Test it on last month
Upload a bank statement and a ledger export from a month you have already closed, and compare the result with your own reconciliation.
