Versapay pricing, Versapay cost and Versapay fees in 2026
Versapay does not publish a price for its AR platform. Vendr's contract data shows a median of $8,095 a year across six purchases, ranging from $3,018 to $74,333, while ERP Research estimates $50,000 to $150,000 or more a year for mid-market deployments. On top of the subscription, Versapay earns money on payments: its published NetSuite Pay schedule charges $200 a month plus 2.9% and 30 cents per card payment and 0.35% and 30 cents per ACH payment, capped at $8.
Versapay pricing at a glance
Three public sources describe what Versapay costs, and they measure different things. Vendr counts real contracts its buyers signed, ERP Research estimates a typical mid-market deal, and the NetSuite Pay page lists the processing fees Versapay charges per payment.
| Cost item | Figure | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Median annual contract | $8,095 a year, 6 purchases | Vendr marketplace |
| Contract range | $3,018 to $74,333 a year | Vendr marketplace |
| Typical mid-market platform estimate | $50,000 to $150,000+ a year | ERP Research |
| Merchant account fee, NetSuite Pay | $200 a month, no setup fee | Versapay NetSuite Pay pricing page |
| Card payments | 2.9% + $0.30 per authorization | Versapay NetSuite Pay pricing page |
| ACH payments | 0.35% + $0.30, capped at $8 per transaction | Versapay NetSuite Pay pricing page |
| Chargebacks, ACH returns, retrievals | $20 each | Versapay NetSuite Pay pricing page |
| International cards | 1% extra | Versapay NetSuite Pay pricing page |
| Free trial | None listed | ERP Research |
The gap between $8,095 and $50,000 is not a contradiction. Small Vendr deals are often a single module or a payments-led contract, while the ERP Research band describes a full AR deployment with cash application, collections and the customer portal.
How Versapay pricing works
ERP Research describes Versapay as an annual subscription quoted by invoice volume. The other drivers it lists are named users, the modules you select on top of a base platform fee, and data volume. Multi-year terms, an annual commitment and seat counts are the usual levers for a discount.
The modules matter most. Versapay sells digital invoice delivery, a collaborative customer portal, AI cash application (strengthened by its 2022 purchase of DadeSystems), collections workflows, embedded payments and AR dashboards. A company buying only the portal and payments pays a very different number from one buying cash application and collections for three entities.
Payment processing is the second half of the bill. When your customers pay invoices through the Versapay portal, Versapay or its acquiring partner takes a fee on each payment. That is why a Versapay quote can look low next to a subscription-only rival and still cost more over a year.
Versapay fees on card and ACH payments
The one schedule Versapay publishes is for NetSuite Pay, its payments product for NetSuite customers. It shows a $200 monthly merchant account fee, no setup fee, 2.9% plus 30 cents per card authorization on Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, and 0.35% plus 30 cents per ACH transfer with an $8 cap. Chargebacks, ACH returns and retrieval requests cost $20 each, a PCI non-compliance fee of $40 a month applies while you are out of compliance, and non-US cards add 1%.
Larger merchants are not stuck with that card rate. Versapay offers custom pricing through SuitePayments, and Merchant Cost Consulting reported a December 2024 offer of 0.20% plus 15 cents per transaction and advises asking for interchange-plus pricing. Some Versapay customers pass the card cost on: industrial supplier A-Gas announced a 1.75% card surcharge from May 2026 to steer customers to ACH.
What Versapay costs in a year, worked example
Take a NetSuite company collecting $1,000,000 a month through the portal at the published NetSuite Pay rates: $200,000 by card in 400 payments and $800,000 by ACH in 1,600 payments of about $500.
- Card fees: 2.9% of $200,000 is $5,800, plus 400 times 30 cents, so $5,920 a month.
- ACH fees: 0.35% of $500 is $1.75, plus 30 cents, so $2.05 per payment and $3,280 a month.
- Merchant account fee: $200 a month.
That is about $9,400 a month, or roughly $112,800 a year, in processing alone, before any subscription. Negotiated card rates, surcharging and a higher ACH share cut it sharply, which is why the processing terms deserve as much attention in the negotiation as the license line.
Costs that do not show up on the quote
- Implementation and ERP connector setup. The NetSuite SuiteApp and the Sage Intacct and Dynamics 365 connectors need configuration and testing, and Oracle Fusion Cloud connects through an API and flat files.
- Customer adoption. A portal only pays off when customers use it, and onboarding them takes AR staff time.
- Exceptions that stay manual. Payments with no reference, misspelled payer names and short pays still need a person, even with AI cash application.
- Ledger systems outside the connector list. Companies on QuickBooks Desktop often keep importing bank activity by hand, for example by turning a CSV bank file into a QBO import, because Versapay's connectors center on NetSuite, Sage Intacct and Dynamics.
How to negotiate a Versapay quote
1. Name the modules you need before the first call. Portal and payments, cash application and collections are priced separately.
2. Ask for one first year number that includes subscription, implementation and expected processing fees at your real card and ACH mix.
3. Ask for interchange-plus card pricing and an ACH cap, and decide whether you will surcharge cards.
4. Trade term for price. Multi-year commitments and seat counts are the levers ERP Research lists.
5. Price the alternative. If the module you need is cash application, test a matching tool on one month of deposits before you sign.
Our Versapay alternatives guide compares Billtrust, HighRadius, Esker, Quadient AR, Tesorio and Gaviti by module, and the Billtrust alternative page covers the closest rival.
When a matching tool costs less than Versapay
If the reason you are pricing Versapay is unapplied cash, meaning deposits that sit for days before someone ties them to invoices, you may not need a portal at all. Reconciles reads your bank statement or processor payout file and your open invoice list, matches one to one, one to many and many to one on invoice numbers, amounts and payer names, and sends short pays, overpayments and unidentified cash to an exceptions queue. The cash application software page shows the full flow.
Plans are published. Starter is $888 a year for 3,000 matched transactions a month, Growth is $2,388 a year for 20,000 a month across 5 entities with QuickBooks and Xero journal entries, and Scale is $5,988 a year for 100,000 a month across 25 entities with API and SFTP, NetSuite journal entries and approvals. There is no implementation fee and no processing fee, because Reconciles does not take payments. Every limit is on the pricing page, and reconciliation software cost compares other quote-based vendors.
It is not an invoicing, portal or collections product. If getting customers to pay online is the goal, Versapay and Billtrust stay on the list.
Versapay pricing questions
How much does Versapay cost?
Versapay does not publish platform prices. Vendr's contract data shows a median of $8,095 a year across six purchases, from $3,018 to $74,333, and ERP Research estimates $50,000 to $150,000 or more a year for a mid-market AR deployment. Payment processing fees come on top whenever customers pay through the portal.
Does Versapay charge a fee?
Yes, on payments. Versapay's published NetSuite Pay schedule lists a $200 monthly merchant account fee, 2.9% plus 30 cents per card payment, 0.35% plus 30 cents per ACH payment capped at $8, and $20 for each chargeback, ACH return or retrieval. Larger merchants can negotiate custom rates.
What are Versapay fees for ACH?
On the published NetSuite Pay schedule, ACH costs 0.35% plus 30 cents per transaction, capped at $8. A $500 ACH payment costs $2.05 and any payment above roughly $2,200 hits the cap. ACH returns cost $20 each.
Does Versapay have a free trial?
No free trial is listed. ERP Research describes Versapay as sold through a demo and an annual subscription quote. Reconciles, by contrast, shows matched pairs from your own deposit and invoice files before you create an account.
Is Versapay cheaper than Billtrust or HighRadius?
It depends on the modules. ERP Research reports $20,000 to $60,000 a year buyer-reported for Billtrust and $50,000 to $150,000 or more for both Versapay and HighRadius, and Versapay and Billtrust both add processing fees. Compare first year totals at your real payment mix, not the license line alone.
