ReconArt pricing and what ReconArt costs in 2026
ReconArt does not publish prices on its website. Every deal starts with a demo and a quote. Third-party listings show the Essentials edition from about $1,500 a month with 5 users and 25 million transactions a year, and Plus from about $3,000 a month with 10 users. Procurement marketplace Vendr reports an average contract of about $49,500 a year, and about $148,600 for a full deployment.
How much does ReconArt cost per year?
ReconArt's site lists its products and a "request a quote" button, nothing more. The useful numbers come from listings that ReconArt has shared with review platforms and from buyers who report contracts to procurement services. In October 2026 they showed these figures.
| Edition or figure | Reported price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Essentials | From about $1,500 a month, roughly $18,000 a year | 5 users, up to 25 million transactions a year, matching and exception management |
| Plus | From about $3,000 a month, roughly $36,000 a year | 10 users, up to 50 million transactions a year, one key process module |
| Certify | From about $1,500 a month | Auditable balance sheet reconciliation and a secure document repository |
| Close and Enterprise | Custom pricing | Custom user scope, reporting, deployment options and enhanced support |
| Average contract (Vendr) | About $49,532 a year | Mix of editions and modules across reported deals |
| Full deployment (Vendr) | About $148,595 | Total proposed price for a complete rollout |
The edition prices are starting points, not quotes. Most companies add modules, users or volume above the base, which is why Vendr's average sits well above the Essentials list figure. ReconArt is still cheaper at the entry level than the enterprise suites. Our breakdowns of BlackLine pricing and FloQast pricing use the same kind of sources.
ReconArt products and which edition a quote covers
ReconArt is a modular platform. Its site groups the products into four areas, and the edition you are quoted depends on which of them you need.
| Area | Products on ReconArt's site |
|---|---|
| Transaction reconciliation | Bank, credit card, AP and AR, and securities, positions and trades reconciliation |
| Month-end close | Financial close management, journal entry approval workflow, balance sheet reconciliation and certification |
| Group and entity control | Intercompany reconciliation |
| Document processing | IntelliDoc, AI extraction from unstructured PDFs |
Its customer list leans toward banks, payment and money remittance companies, insurers, travel, retail and manufacturing. That shows in the transaction limits. Twenty-five million transactions a year on the entry edition is far more than a typical mid-market controller needs, and it means you pay for headroom built for a payment processor.
What drives the ReconArt price
- Edition. Essentials, Plus, Certify, Close and Enterprise each carry a different base fee.
- Users. Essentials includes 5 and Plus includes 10. Extra preparers and reviewers raise the monthly fee.
- Transaction volume. Each edition has a yearly cap, and going over it moves you up a tier.
- Modules. Intercompany, close management, journal approvals and IntelliDoc are added on top of matching.
- Deployment and support. Enterprise brings custom deployment, security options and enhanced support at a custom price.
- Contract terms. Vendr lists net 30 or annual upfront payment and names January, March and July as months when buyers got better terms.
Does ReconArt charge for implementation?
Yes, in most deals. Vendr describes deployment as a few weeks up to a couple of months, and review sites put implementation anywhere from about $5,000 for a small team to $50,000 or more for a larger company with many data sources. The cost depends on how many bank, card and ERP feeds you connect and how many matching rules ReconArt's team configures for you.
Ask for the implementation scope in writing, with the number of data sources, reconciliation types and rules included, so the services invoice matches what you expected.
What to budget for ReconArt in year one
1. Subscription. Start from about $18,000 for Essentials or $36,000 for Plus, and plan closer to Vendr's $49,500 average once modules are added.
2. Implementation. Add $5,000 to $50,000 depending on feeds and rules.
3. Internal time. Someone on your team maps data sources, tests rules and signs off on the rollout over several weeks.
4. Growth. Price the next edition up now, so crossing a user or transaction cap mid-contract does not surprise you.
For a mid-size company that usually means $25,000 to $70,000 in the first year. That is fair money for a configurable platform that runs bank, card, securities and intercompany reconciliations at high volume. It is a lot to spend if the job is matching a few bank accounts, processor payouts and invoice payments every month.
Questions to ask ReconArt before you sign
- Which edition does the quote assume, and which modules are included in that price?
- How are transactions counted, and what happens when we pass the yearly cap?
- How many users are included, and what does each extra preparer or reviewer cost?
- What is in the implementation scope, and who builds the matching rules?
- Do our bank, processor and ERP connections come standard, or as services work?
- Is there a renewal cap, and what changes on a multi-year term?
When a self-serve tool costs less than ReconArt
ReconArt earns its price when you reconcile at the scale of a bank or payment company, or when securities and intercompany sit in the same project. Many buyers start a ReconArt evaluation for a narrower reason. Stripe and Shopify payouts arrive net of fees, customers pay several invoices with one ACH, and the bank account will not tie to QuickBooks or NetSuite on day three. That is a matching problem.
Reconciles solves only that problem, with published prices. Starter is $888 a year billed yearly, Growth $2,388 and Scale $5,988, with no implementation fee. Growth covers 15 accounts, 20,000 matched transactions a month and 5 entities, which is roughly one eighth of the Essentials list price for the volume most mid-market teams actually run. If you are also weighing the enterprise suites, our Trintech alternative page compares Adra and Cadency with self-serve matching, and the payment reconciliation software page shows how payouts are split into fees and refunds.
If your matched bank lines have to end up in your books, you can turn the bank file into a QuickBooks import before posting, then drop the bank file and the ledger export into the matcher and see how many lines pair on the first pass. Every plan limit is on the reconciliation software pricing page.
ReconArt pricing questions
How much does ReconArt cost?
ReconArt does not publish prices. Third-party listings show Essentials from about $1,500 a month with 5 users and 25 million transactions a year, and Plus from about $3,000 a month with 10 users. Vendr reports an average contract of about $49,532 a year, plus implementation.
Does ReconArt charge per user?
Partly. Each edition includes a set number of users, 5 on Essentials and 10 on Plus, and additional users raise the fee. Transaction volume, modules and deployment options also change the quote, so users are one driver among several.
Does ReconArt have a free trial?
ReconArt does not offer a self-serve trial on its website. Access starts with a demo and a quote. Tools with published plans let you test matching on your own bank and ledger files before you pay anything.
Is ReconArt cheaper than BlackLine?
Usually, yes. ReconArt's entry editions are listed from about $18,000 a year, while Vendr reports a median BlackLine contract of about $40,125 a year. Large ReconArt deployments can still pass six figures, so compare full quotes, not entry prices.
